Product: HP ENVY 4500 e-All-in-One Printer

My scanner app in HP Smart app 14.3.1 doesn't see my scanner, but my other mac running HP Smart app running 14.3.0 runs fine. The printer is hooked to the second mac, but sharing is on in both computers and I can print from both with no problems, but why do I have problems scanning form the first First mac is running OS 12.6.4 and the other is 12.5.1.
