To HP
Please could someone in HP be so kind and reveal, what are the steps to take for a SEMI FULL RESET on an HP DESKJET 3777
The reason for this is, i have forgotten my password to enter the printers EWS, since I'm not using this PW on a regular basis.
Back in 07/11-2019 I got the steps in a PM, from an employee at HP, here in this forum.
The problem now is i can't get these steps to work, so i assume that HP have changed these steps, somehow via a new FW update
BTW, i still don't understand why it is such a big secret, the different levels of resets, it must be peoples own risk to take if they screw something up and try to do something they have no clue about.
Just wondering!!!
Looking forward to hearing from HP and in advance thank

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
- I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
- In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Forums profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
