since changing my network to fibre it seems HP Smart does not recognise printers if they connect to a bt disc rather than the HUB, if the printer connects to the hub then all devices can access it. If it connects to a disc which is the same network then it can’t be accessed. I am using a BT Black Disc. I use a Deskjet 3055a printer.

Here is a further snapshot showing the printer directly connected to the HUB, as you can see it has filled in all the printer characteristics firmware etc. There is a definite problem when the printer connects to a Black disc, these are used to extend coverage throughout the area. The printer is now usable.
