Hi @P731,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Yes, you can prevent your HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One printer from entering sleep mode by adjusting the settings. However, the options available for changing sleep mode settings can vary based on the model and firmware version. Here’s a general guide you can follow.

Via Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer’s control panel, look for the Setup or Settings menu.
  • Navigate to Printer Maintenance or a similar option.
  • Look for a setting related to Sleep Mode or Energy Saving.
  • Change the settings to adjust or disable sleep mode if such an option is available.

Via HP Smart App:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Select your HP ENVY 6055e printer.
  • Go to Printer Settings.
  • Look for options related to Power Management or Sleep Mode.
  • Adjust the settings according to your preference.

Via Web Interface:

  • Make sure your printer is connected to your network.
  • Find the printer’s IP address on the printer's control panel or in the HP Smart app.
  • Enter the IP address into a web browser to access the printer’s embedded web server (EWS).
  • Look for Settings or Configuration options related to Power or Sleep Mode.
  • Adjust the settings as needed.

If you don't see an option to completely prevent the printer from sleeping, you might be limited to adjusting the sleep timer to its longest setting.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
