Hello everyone.
I have been having problems with my HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 5075 printer for a few weeks now.
When trying to print via wifi connection, the printer takes forever to initialize the print and then to print. Even canceling the print between these steps usually takes some time to return the paper.
I am having this problem whether using a Windows 10 PC as well as Android devices.
I have downloaded the diagnostic software and when I try to test print, the same problem occurs.
This does not happen when I perform printing directly from the printer (such as printing to align it or to view network settings, and so on), or even from the printer itself by accessing via its IP from a browser. Therefore, I deduce that it is not a physical problem with the printer (except for some possible problem with its wifi antenna).
I have reset its network settings, as well as a factory reset of it. I have changed its IP, tried different wifi connections, tried different routers.
The printer has the latest firmware btw.
The only thing I haven't tried yet is printing via Bluetooth, nor printing via USB (I think I lost the cable, but I'll look for it).
Any help would be very welcome.
Thank you.
Regards.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting slow printing issues, and I am glad to assist you.
Follow these steps to fix the issue:-
Turn off Quiet Mode
Quiet Mode reduces noise levels when printing, but can also reduce print speed.
HP Smart app: Open the HP Smart app, click your printer, click Advanced Settings. On the Settings tab, click Quiet Mode under Preferences, select Off, and then click Apply.
If the issue still persists, this could be a driver issue.
Uninstall the printer driver from the root level and reinstall the printer driver to fix the issue
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and install the printer using the HP Smart app

Hi.
I have performed the requested steps, but the issue with the printer persists.
The printer was not in Quiet Mode, although I still set it and removed it from that mode to test.
As I mentioned above, I have the problem with both Windows and Android devices; so I deduce that it is not a driver problem. The printer has a good WiFi signal at a considerably short distance from the router to which it is connected.
For more details, please read my first post.
Thank you!

Perform a power reset, and reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates
