I've just had Starlink installed. How do I connect my printer to it without a USB port or a control panel or any printer port on the printer?

Hi @Reega,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query.

I am sorry to say that Connecting a printer to a network like Starlink without using a control panel or USB can be a bit challenging, but it is possible using various methods depending on your printer model. I would request you to please follow the steps:

Wireless Setup Using WPS

Check WPS Compatibility

  • Make sure both your printer and the Starlink router support WPS.
  • Most modern routers and printers do, but it’s best to verify this in your printer’s manual or specifications.

Activate WPS on Your Printer:

  • On your printer, locate the WPS button. This could be a physical button or part of the printer’s wireless settings interface.
  • Press and hold the WPS button on your printer. The wireless light should start blinking.

Connect via HP Smart App

  • Install the HP Smart app on your phone or laptop.
  • Open the app → tap Add Printer.
  • The app will detect printers in setup mode.
  • Select your printer and enter your Starlink Wi‑Fi password.

Take care and have an amazing day!
