Hi, I use an HP Envy 6000 series printer on a MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2 operating system. I could use the printer successfully until I moved to a new apartment with a new wifi service one week ago. Since then, I've been unable to connect the printer to my new network. I've been attempting to chat with HP support via FB messaging for 24 hours and need to print a document today (12/24) but the advice I have received so far doesn't seem to relate to connecting the printer to wifi. For example, one suggestion was to uninstall and reinstall the HP Smart app, which I have dutifully done but see no merit in. Furthermore, I decline to pay for printing services when I own a printer. I received a case # from HP Case 18 ours ago, but that does not seem to have had an effect on obI would appreciate any suggestions the HP Envy printer community has to offer.

Hi @fikiledm ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP Envy 6000 printer. Here are steps you can try to troubleshoot and reconnect your printer to the new WiFi network:
Check Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the wireless or network settings.
- Select your new WiFi network and enter the password if required.
Restart Your Printer:
- Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
- This can sometimes help in resolving connectivity issues.
Check WiFi Signal Strength:
- Ensure that the printer is within the range of your WiFi network.
- If the signal strength is weak, consider moving the printer closer to the WiFi router.
Restart Your Router:
- Power cycle your WiFi router by unplugging it, waiting for 10-15 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- Wait for the router to fully restart before trying to connect the printer again.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check for firmware updates for your HP Envy 6000 printer on the HP support website.
- If there are updates available, install them as they may include improvements and bug fixes.
Reset Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to the network settings and choose to reset the network settings.
- After resetting, set up the WiFi connection again.
Update Printer Drivers:
- Make sure you have the latest printer drivers installed on your MacOS Sonoma 14.1.2.
- You can download the latest drivers from the official HP website.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
