Suddenly unable to print.. I button flashing...report stating printer not connected to internet, wifi turned off.

Have been through the reset printer routine a couple of times but blue wifi light does not appear after printer is reset.

Same wifi used by phone, PC and television and all working fine

All on Broadband, no router.

Can a printer develop a problem that will not allow it to connect to wifi that cannot be fixed?

In other words is my printer terminally ill and I need to buy a new one?
