Hi @Christo11,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with the wireless icon and internet setup options are missing from your HP Smart Tank 615 Wireless All-in-One Printer, this can indicate an issue with the printer's wireless functionality.

Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:

1. Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 1-2 minutes before plugging it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the wireless icon and setup options reappear.

2. Perform a Wireless Network Reset

  • Press and hold the Wireless button (or Wi-Fi icon) and the Cancel button on the printer at the same time for 5 seconds.
  • The printer should reset its network settings, and the wireless light should blink, indicating it is in setup mode.

3. Check Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • If possible, connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
  • Download and install the latest firmware for your printer from the HP Support website.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to update the firmware.

4. Reset the Printer

  • Perform a factory reset to restore all printer settings:
    • Press and hold the Power button and the Cancel button simultaneously for about 3 seconds.
    • Release the buttons when the printer restarts.
  • Check if the wireless icon is restored.

5. Check for Hardware Issues

  • Ensure the wireless module inside the printer is functioning correctly. If the wireless light does not turn on after the above steps, the issue may be hardware-related.

6. Use HP Smart App for Setup HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

  • Open the HP Smart app on your computer or smartphone.
  • Select "Add Printer" and follow the instructions to connect the printer to Wi-Fi.
  • If the wireless icon remains missing, try connecting the printer via a USB cable and check if it functions normally.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
