Hi @Sandyquilter,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
I understand you're experiencing Wi-Fi connectivity issues on your HP printer after an Apple device upgrade, here are a few troubleshooting steps to try:
Verify Internet Connection: Ensure your Apple device (iPhone or iPad) is connected to a stable and active internet connection.
Reset Network Settings: On your Apple device, you can reset the network settings. Go to Settings, tap 'General,' then 'Reset,' and choose 'Reset Network Settings.' Be aware that this will erase all saved networks and passwords.
Update Device Software: Ensure your iPhone or iPad is running the latest version of iOS, as updates can address connectivity bugs.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi: Forget the Wi-Fi network on your Apple device and reconnect by entering the password again. This can often resolve connectivity issues.
Use HP Mobile Printing Solutions: If you continue to face problems, you can try alternative solutions like the HP Print Service Plugin for Android or Apple AirPrint for iOS devices for printing needs. Make sure your printer is connected to the same network.
HP Print Service Plugin or Apple AirPrint:
- For Android: Get the HP Print Service Plugin from your app store, select an item to print, choose the More or Share icon, select Print or HP Print Service Plugin, choose your printer, and print.
- For iOS: Open the item, tap the Share or menu icon, select Print and then your printer, adjust print settings, and proceed to print.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!

Did all you suggested. Connected to wifi after removing all connections to the modem. No problem connecting to wifi but my printer is no discovering the wifi…the blue signal light just keeps flashing . My iPad or iPhone cannot find the printer because it isn’t/not connecting 🥹
any other suggestions?

To reconnect your HP printer to a new Wi-Fi network using your iPad or iPhone, follow these instructions:
Reconnect the Printer to the Network:
- Ensure your printer is within range of the Wi-Fi router signal.
- Printers with a Touchscreen Control Panel:
- Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu on the printer control panel.
- Select "Wireless Setup Wizard," then follow the instructions to select the new network name and enter the new password.
- Open the Setup, Network, or Wireless settings menu on the printer control panel.
- Printers Without a Touchscreen Control Panel:
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for five seconds or until the wireless light starts flashing.
- Within two minutes, press and hold the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button on the router until the connection process begins. The printer's wireless light stops flashing when the connection completes.
- Press and hold the Wireless button on the printer for five seconds or until the wireless light starts flashing.
Use Mobile Apps:
- You can download the HP app from 123.hp.com.
- Use the app to set up the printer on your Wi-Fi network. The app includes tools to print, scan, check ink levels, and complete the wireless setup.
Additional Troubleshooting:
- If using the HP app fails, ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your iOS device to detect the printer.
- If you encounter any problems, restart both your printer and iOS device to clear potential error conditions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
