I had a problem with Envy 6052 wireless connection. It disconnected after a router issue. When I tried to re-connect via HP Smart, that program kept knocking off the WiFi to my computer, and that printer's purple light kept flashing with no end in sight. Finally looked up connecting my printer wirelessly by using a USB cable. Wound up at HP driver and software page, where I installed HP EasyStart app. Followed instructions, and was able to get printer back onto WiFi, and I can now print from other devices in house. It looks like a bunch of people are running into this issue, but this is a possible solution.
