I am having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi with my printer on the set of hp print on my mobile phone. stops on preparing printer error code -5

The error code -5 on HP printers usually indicates a communication issue between the printer and the connected devices. Here are steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

 

Restart Your Devices:

  • Turn off your printer, smartphone, and router.
  • Wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
  • Attempt to connect again.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure that both your printer and your mobile phone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Verify that the Wi-Fi signal is strong and stable.

Update Firmware:

  • Check if there's a firmware update available for your HP DeskJet 2752e. Visit the HP support website, enter your printer model, and download the latest firmware if available.

Reinstall HP Smart App:

  • Uninstall the HP Smart app from your mobile phone.
  • Reinstall the latest version from your device's app store.
  • Open the app and try connecting to the printer again.

Reset Printer Network Settings:

  • On your printer, go to the Settings menu.
  • Navigate to the Network or Wireless settings.
  • Choose the option to reset network settings.
  • Set up the Wi-Fi connection again on your printer.

Check for Interference:
