Common problems for Connectivity Issues

It sounds like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 is having trouble printing from your Samsung A50, possibly due to a blocked print job or connectivity issue. 

 

Here are some steps to troubleshoot:

 

1. Restart Everything

  • Turn off your printer, mobile device, and Wi-Fi router.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then turn them back on.
  • Try printing again.

2. Check Printer Status

  • Open the HP Smart app on your Samsung A50.
  • Ensure the printer is online and not in an error state.
  • If it shows "Blocked", try clearing any pending print jobs.

3. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  • Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons for 5 seconds.
  • The printer will reset its network settings.
  • Reconnect it to Wi-Fi and try printing again.

4. Verify Mobile Printing Settings

  • Go to Settings > Connections > Printing on your Samsung A50.
  • Ensure HP Print Service Plugin is installed and enabled.
  • If not installed, download it from the Google Play Store.
