I've been using my printer wirelessly without a problem.  But today my printer says its not connected to the internet. 

OK, I'll hook up my USB. But no, I cannot find it!  I've moved 3 times in the past 2 years and can't find my cables! 

HP will NOT help me b/c they say support has expired for my printer.  All I need is the right USB cable to fit my printer!

I can order one on Amazon but don't know which one will fit.

Can anyone help with this???

For the HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw printer, you need a USB 2.0 Type A to Type B cable. This is a standard cable commonly used for printers. Here are the details you need.

 

  • Type A: This end plugs into your computer.
  • Type B: This end plugs into your printer.

 

Here's an example of what the cable looks like.

 

You can find this type of cable on Amazon by searching for "USB 2.0 Type A to Type B cable."

Thank you so much Alden4!  😊   Its a shame HP completely rejected my request for help b/c my support "expired".  Not good for business.😕  I tried to click on the thumbs up, but it would not light up no matter what!  Sorry.

 

Now I need to figure out how to connect to my wireless network again.
