I recently changed my wireless gateway, and now I am unable to connect to the new network.
I have connected to the printer via the USB port and selected the 2.4 mHz band of my router, but I am unable to connect. I am typing in the WPA password correctly.
Whenever I try to authenticate the change, I lose the connection.
I am attaching screenshots of the issue. Please help. Thank you.

Thanks for clarifying.
I assume you follow below steps to access the HTML Config Utility but adding the written steps to ensure that the correct steps are taken:
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02847467
Additionally, when you click the HTML Config button, does the page opens in Safari or may open in any other browser?
If it opens in other browser than Safari, please make sure that Safari is your default browser and then repeat the steps, may you see any difference then?

Welcome to HP Support Community
I would like to help
This printer supports only 2.4GHz network. Do not connect it to 5 GHz Network incase your Router supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz
If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, then the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both the networks.
Restore the printer Network settings back to default
- Turn the product on, and while it is initializing press and hold the cancel button and wireless button at the same time
Next try using the HP Smart App to setup the printer
Thank you

Thank you for your response.
That said, I'm going to need more help.
Per your reply, I did use the same password for both channels of my dual band gateway. I went into my gateway's settings and changed the password so the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are now separate passwords.
Without using the HP assistant, I tried the HTML Config through the HP Printer Utility again. I selected the 2.4 GHz band, which I renamed. Even with these changes, I am still receiving the same error message saying "The site cannot be reached" after typing in the correct WPA password. These were the same results per my screenshots in my first post.
I then downloaded the HP Smart App to my computer. I could not select the HP LaserJet Professional P 1102w from the list of applicable printers. When setting the printer up without a selection, even with the USB connected, the Smart App could not find the printer.
I am attaching the screenshot with the HP Smart App's error message.
In addition, I cannot update firmware for the printer.
Is the printer simply being sunsetted or discontinued? That would be unfortunate, but at least I would have closure.
Thank you.

Hi,
The Setup should be done from within the HP Utility software for your printer indeed, however, I do suspect the network name due to its lentgh and special characters.
Please print and Evaluate a Configuration Page for the printer:
https://support.hp.com/lv-en/document/c02007076
Within the Network Information section, see the listed Network Name (SSID) listed on the report, can you see the exact same name as your network, including any of the spaces and the & character?
if you see any change, I suggest trying to change the network name to be more standard name and check for any difference.
For any problem, please clarify the exact value listed for Network Name (SSID) on the printed report to better understand the current status of the printer.

ShlomiL,
First, the HP Printer Utility cannot find my 1102W printer. After about 10 minutes of searching it gives up.
Second, I have already reset to factory settings, thus the printer is totally static until I can reestablish a wireless connection.
I have no special characters in my wireless network other than spaces. Are these deemed special characters?
While I wait for a response, I will take the spaces out of my network name. Thank you.

I have removed all spaces from my network. This still did not resolve the issue. The password only has letters and numbers.
The HP Utility cannot find the device.
I was directed to use HP Easy Print. Even with the printer connected through USB, it still cannot be found.

How is the blue wireless light on the printer? is it On or blinking?
On the Configuration Report Page, does the printer listed as connected with any SSID and IP Address or not? what exact information is listed for you there? here is an example of the report with the required information listed, could you please clarify what information is listed there fore the current printer status?
"I was directed to use HP Easy Print." - do you refer to HP Smart as I can assume from the picture? HP Smart is not an option for an older model as the P1102w, it is for much later products..

Shlomi,
Here is the scan of my test page. Since I took the suggestion of resetting to factory settings, the printer has no network and will not allow me to join my network through the HTML Config page per the screenshots above.
When the blue wireless light comes on, it only blinks. It only comes on when I turn the printer on or press the appropriate button for five seconds.
