Hi,
I recently upgraded to a wifi 6 router and since then I have been unable to connect my HP laser jet M102w printer to my wifi network. I did a full reset from the printer webpage but still was unable to connect to wifi. After several attempts, I switched back to my old wifi router and was still unable to connect it to the wifi network. The Direct Wifi on the printer turns on and I am able to connect to that, but am unable to connect the printer to my wifi network.
I think I have reset the printer like 20 - 25 times. This last time around, I came across a note that had steps to reset using the buttons on the printer, but I think I pressed the wrong buttons. I pressed and held the wifi button and the resume button on the printer, I released them after about 5 - 10 secs when I realized my mistake. Once I released the buttons, the printer started to print and printed an error report. It is attached to this message,
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Bharath

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- What's the Wi-Fi light status on the Printer(Blinking or Steady)?
- Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz? If yes, make sure the dual-band has different SSIDs for 2.4G and 5G networks.
- Are you getting any error messages or codes while connecting to the network?
While you respond to that, let's prepare your printer for a wireless connection, and restart the printer, computer, and router.
- Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
- Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
- Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
- Turn on the computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
