How do I connect my m15w laserjet to a new WiFi?  It was working at home and I moved it to my work location and I am unable to reset the WiFi.  I’ve tried everything I’ve read and nothing resets it.  Help!!!

@Mwagner16, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP LaserJet M15w to a New WiFi Network!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

To connect your HP LaserJet M15w printer to a new WiFi network, you need to reset its wireless settings and then set up the connection again. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you achieve that:

Restore Network Default Settings

  1. Power on the printer: Make sure your printer is turned on.
  2. Restore settings:
    • Press and hold the Wireless button (the one with the antenna icon) on the printer's control panel for about 20 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking rapidly. This will reset the wireless settings to default and enable the printer to search for a new network.

Connect to the New WiFi Network

  1. Prepare your printer for connection: Ensure the printer is near the WiFi router to receive a strong signal during setup.
  2. Use the HP Smart App:
    • Download the HP Smart App from the App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android).
    • Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions. It will guide you through connecting the printer to the new WiFi network.
    • During setup, you will be asked to select your printer model, and then you'll be able to choose the network you want to connect the printer to.

Confirm Connection

  1. Print a network configuration page:
    • After completing the setup, you can print a network configuration page from the printer's control panel to ensure it is connected to the correct network. This will show the network details including the IP address of your printer, confirming a successful connection.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
