I'm trying to set up my printer to a new router but it will not connect no matter what I try. I've followed all the prompts to set up my printer and connect it to no avail. The printer is an HP ENVY 6055e. I had no problems on the previous router as it was dual band but had the seperate 2.4g and 5 g bands. The new router I received from my ISP ran both bands simultaneously and it would not connect. I bought my own router to have the seperate bands and it still will not connect. When I try to contact tech support, it's not allowing me to speak with anyone because my Serial Number is not recognized although it is given correctly. I'm close to being done with HP!

Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
