I have a new wireless router. I have tried various options but the printer will not connect to WiFi.

I understand you are trying to connect your HP ENVY 6000e All-In-One Printer to your new wireless router, follow these steps:
 

Option 1: Use HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)

Download HP Smart App (if you don't already have it):

  • Download from the HP Smart website.
  • Ensure your Mac is connected to the same WiFi network you want to connect the printer to.

Reset the Printer's Network Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button at the same time until the Power button blinks. This will restore the network settings to default.

Reconnect using HP Smart:

  • Open the HP Smart app on your Mac.
  • Click Set Up a New Printer and follow the on-screen instructions. HP Smart should detect your printer if it's within range.
  • When prompted, enter your new WiFi credentials to connect the printer to the network.

Option 2: Use HP Wireless Setup Wizard (from Printer Control Panel)

  1. Access the Wireless Setup Wizard:
    • On the printer control panel, press the Wi-Fi button to turn on wireless.
    • Then press and hold the Information button until all the control panel buttons light up.
    • Press the Wireless button to start the Wireless Setup Wizard.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to connect the printer to your new router.

Option 3: WPS Push Button Method (If your router supports WPS) 

Activate WPS on Printer:

  • Press and hold the Wi-Fi button on the printer until it starts blinking.

Press the WPS Button on Your Router:

  • Press the WPS button on your router within 2 minutes.

This should connect your printer to the new network automatically.
