Hi @Burrows22
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Since your printer is still offline after restarting and toggling Wi-Fi, let's go through a few additional steps to bring it back online.
Troubleshooting Steps
Restart the Router
- Turn off your router, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
- Ensure your printer and computer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- Open HP Smart or go to Printer Settings > Wireless Setup on your printer.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password.
Check Network Type
- Some HP printers only support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi—make sure your router isn’t forcing a 5GHz connection.
Reset Network Settings on Printer
- On the printer, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore Network Defaults.
- Restart the printer and try reconnecting.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows Only)
- Download HP’s Print and Scan Doctor tool.
- Run it to diagnose and fix connectivity issues.
If the printer still won’t connect, let me know the printer model and your device type (Windows, Mac, mobile) for more specific steps.
Let’s get this fixed!
