Hi @Marcy57,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your iPhone can't print to your wireless HP printer, even though the printer is connected to the internet, here are the most effective steps to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

1. Check AirPrint Compatibility

Make sure your HP printer supports AirPrint, which is required for printing from iOS without extra apps. Most modern HP wireless printers do.

  • You can check your model on Apple’s AirPrint printer list.

2. Ensure Both Devices Are on the Same Wi-Fi

  • Your iPhone and printer must be on the same Wi-Fi network (not a guest or mobile hotspot).
  • Go to Settings > Wi-Fi on your iPhone and confirm the network.
  • On the printer, print a Network Configuration Page to verify its connection.

3. Restart Everything

  • Restart your iPhoneprinter, and Wi-Fi router.
  • This clears temporary network issues.

4. Try Printing from a Different App

  • Open a photo or document in PhotosSafari, or Mail.
  • Tap the Share icon > Print > Select your printer.

5. Use the HP Smart App (Optional)

6. Reset Network Settings on Printer

If the printer still doesn’t show up:

  • On the printer, go to Settings > Network > Restore Network Settings.
  • Reconnect it to Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app or the printer control panel.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
