HP ENVY 5530 e-All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy 5530 printer used to work fine, but I've lost the ability to print to it from my All-In-One that sits right next to it.

I can still print from other PC's in the house and my wife's I-Pad, but my All-In-One refuses.

I don't remember all the error messages I've rec'd but one was a 0x8007077 error (from Win 10) and the printer says "server connection error".

I have downloaded all the HP setup files, including:

HPEasyStart_14_4_7.exe
Full_Webpack-116-Full_Webpack.exe
EN5530_2024A.exe

They all run but none seem to fix the problem.

One tried to print some test pgs after setup, but no test pgs would print.

Windows Printer troubleshooter says it doesn't see any problems.

In Googling, I saw people complaining about the 0x8007077 error after upgrading to Win 11, and then rolling back to Win 10.

(which I did)

I've spent two days on this -- HP led me to this forum to possibly get some help.

Ideas?

I finally got it working – I don't remember my exact steps to get there.

I changed the printer itself to revert to the factory settings (using the display in the printer).

Then using the HP Support Assistant, I believe I got the option to uninstall/reinstall the software.

Miraculously, it led me though a process (that included a restart) that got things going again.

Whew!

Forgot to mention that I have run as an administrator:

SFC /scannow

DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

This was to validate that my Windows system is not corrupted...

Two more points:

1) My Win 11 upgrade and rollback to Win 10 was months ago.

2) I recently upgraded to a Bluetooth Ver. 5 USB adapter (previously had on-board ver 4 Bluetooth).

It seems that is when my printer connectivity issues started...

Since this post, I also tried the tips on the "Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status" link.

Still no luck...

I also downloaded the HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows (HPPSdr.exe --- 11.4 MB).

It would not run -- said the zip extraction failed due to not being able to delete an output file.
