@keino11, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

Let’s troubleshoot your HP printer issue step by step. Here are a few common checks and fixes:

Check Printer Status

  • Is the printer turned on?
  • Are there any error lights or messages on the printer display?

Check Connections

  • If it's a USB printer, is the cable securely connected?
  • If it's a wireless printer, is it connected to the correct Wi-Fi network?

Check for Paper and Ink

  • Is there paper in the tray?
  • Are the ink or toner cartridges full and properly installed?

Set as Default Printer

  • On your computer, go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP printer and select Set as default printer.

Clear Print Queue

  • Go to Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select See what’s printing.
  • Cancel all documents in the queue.

Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer and your computer.

Update or Reinstall Drivers

If you let me know your printer model and whether you're using Windows, macOS, or another system, I can give you more specific instructions.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
