HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dn

Hello,

I am able to print directly from one pc, but not from other pcs or devices on my network. When installing the printer software/drivers, the set up stops at the "configure" step., with an error message stating "unable to communicate with printer." Despite this, the test page printed with no issues.

Curiously, every device on my home network has an IP address that begins with 192. But the printer's IP address begins with 169.  It does not appear as a client on my router. I uninstalled/reinstalled the HP software twice with he same result.

Any suggestions to resolve this would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Umrk

Well I managed to correct the issue. I changed the IP setting from "AUTOIP" to DHCP - problem solved.
