Last week I went to an HP site for help.  Chat came on and I informed them that my  printer was spitting out blank pages and shaded pages,  when I print.  She hooked me up with a HP tech.  that looked at my computer on line.  He said I had malaware on my computer and I need to talked Digiteq solutions and they would clean up my computer and fix the printer.   Well guess what I have now Spent money to Digiteq to for spy ware protection.  And my printer still does not work.  No one can tell me what the issue is.  I bought this printer in February and I am very unhappy with HP supoort.

I am sorry this happened to you.

 

There are so many so-called sites on the Internet calling themselves HP.

Scam websites pretend they are HP when they are not.

 

You are not the first one to fall for this kind of bait-and-switch trick.

You were not talking to anyone from HP.

HP does not sell malware protection and does not direct you to purchase this protection.

 

You were never in contact with HP Support.

You did not give your personal information and money to HP.

 

You contacted a non-HP Support website and were tricked.

Sad - and I am not surprised you are unhappy.
