Hi,  I bought a HP 4632 from a friend. I’m trying to sync it to my wifi but it’s asking for a WPA passkey. There’s no manual and my friend doesn’t know the code. Can someone help me out here? I appreciate it very much.

@JeffroBodine1,

Thanks for reaching out to the HP Support Community! 🎉

I’m here to help you troubleshoot your issue and get things back on track. Just follow these steps below, and we’ll have you running smoothly in no time:

Find the WPA password:

  • Check your Wi-Fi router for a sticker with the password (it’s often labeled WPA key or Wi-Fi password).

Connect the printer:

  • Turn on your HP 4632 printer.
  • Press the Wi-Fi button on the printer.
  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
  • Choose your Wi-Fi network and enter the WPA password.

If you can’t find the WPA key:

  • On a Windows PC: Go to Network and Sharing Center, click on your Wi-Fi network, then Wireless Properties > Security tab > Show characters to see the password.

Reconnect printer: Enter the WPA password you found on the printer.

I’m pretty confident this will do the trick! But hey, if you run into any bumps along the way or need a little extra help, just give me a shout! I’ve got your back. 💪
