I own this, but it won't refresh: HP LaserJet Pro M15w Printer

I was in the other room and heard this printer start printing on it's own. Odd, never has it done that before. When I checked what printed out, it was 3 sheets with a Wi-Fi Direct Pin on each page. Why is it doing this? I cannot seem to turn off air print on this device either, which was my first line of defense to accessing our network through the back door. Help please.

Hi @ClevelandDesign

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that your printer is printing Wi-Fi Direct Pin randomly, I am glad to assist you

This might be because the printer is trying to reconnect to the network.

Perform a power reset

  1. Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
  3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  4. Wait at least 30 seconds.
  5. Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
  6. Turn on the printer.

Update the printer firmware
