Jay,

I was able to connect through the Wi-Fi Protected Setup. The router offers 2.4 and 5Gz and through pushing the button on the back of the router it must have been able to read the 2.4 signal.

All good now.

Thank you for your assistance.

Hi @Serge5,

I'd like to help!

To assist better-

  1. Are you trying to connect your printer to your home network,or public network ?
  2. What is the status of the wireless light on the printer, steady or blinking?
  3.  I would like to know, is your router set to work on 2.4 GHz network or 5 GHz network band?

Let me know!

1, Home network

2. Blinking

3. I do not know, the router is a Gateway from Xfinity

On the router itself, you will find the frequency if it is 2.4 or 5Gz or you can check with your ISP.

The printer does not support the 5GHz network, could you check the frequency we are working with?
