HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Installed firmware 20250219.  Printer still reports error 49 whenever I print from my MacBook Pro, MacOS 15.5.  Same issue whether by wifi or wired connection.  Printer reinitializes after each error 49.

NB Just installed 3 new print cartridges, (all HP, 3 colors).  Unit was printing fine before that; on same wifi network.
Unit prints status and test pages (locally) fine.  Unit reports it is connected to my Wifi.
However,  it reports "more than one wireless router found that matches your SSID.  This may be because I use an Eero router with 2 satellites.  At any rate the router configuration has not changed.

No idea where to go from here since firmware is now up to date.

Issue resolved but in no way solved: rebooted MacBook Pro and printing works again.  Concerned ongoing as to what could have caused this, but it's clearly not primarily an HP printer issue.  Case closed

One addition (couldn't see how to edit original post): the unit DOES print from an iPad, using wifi.  Only crashes when the MacBook Pro tries to print to it.
