Can I replace the existing 2.4GHz wifi card in my Color LaserJet M251nw with a dual-band card to use 5GHz wifi?

No,

The internal Wi-Fi card cannot be replaced, only later models support 5GHz wireless connectivity.

 

You may connect the printer to a 2.4GHz wireless, or consider an ethernet connection too as a possible workaround.
