I am unable to connect my printer to my Wifi because I don't have the username and password. I have tried everything to factory reset it , but I have to have that information to do a reset. Any help would be appreciated

@Sevaught88, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're unable to connect your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e to Wi-Fi and are being prompted for a username and password, it's likely asking for your Wi-Fi network credentials or possibly the Embedded Web Server (EWS) login if you're trying to access advanced settings.
Here’s how you can proceed:
Factory Reset Without Username/Password
To reset the printer without needing a username/password:
Access the Printer’s Control Panel:
- On the printer touchscreen, swipe down to open the dashboard.
- Tap the Setup (gear icon).
Navigate to Reset Options:
- Go to Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
- Confirm the reset.
Note: This will erase all settings including Wi-Fi and custom preferences.
If the printer is locked with an admin password and you can't access the reset menu, it may have been previously enrolled in HP+ or managed by an organization. In that case:
Locked Admin Settings?
- Try accessing the Embedded Web Server (EWS):
- Find the printer’s IP address from the touchscreen (under Wireless Settings).
- Enter the IP in a browser to open the EWS.
- If prompted for a username/password, try:
- Username: admin
- Password: leave blank or try the printer’s PIN (found on a sticker inside the printer or on the info sheet printed during setup).
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
