I am setting up my OfficeJet Pro 8025e, I have used this printer at my main office almost everyday for the past 3 or 4 yrs. I have been the one and only owner of this printer. I purchased it brand new at Walmart or Office Depot I can’t remember for sure. But I’m sure I have the receipt somewhere filed.
I bought a new printer a couple days ago for my main office and took the printer I’m having issues with to my home office because my printer at my home office is extremely sloth slow. When I plugged it in to setup the WiFi network all of my options are greyed out. I can not click to set up wireless or to factory reset. So frustrating when I was literally just using it.
It keeps asking me for a username and password that the original owner (again, only me) set up. I never set up a username or password for any of the options on this printer. Everytime I go to any of the majority settings, it tells me to enter the user name and password that was set up by the original owner(again me).
Ive tried the PIN it came with on the inside by the cartridges, that did not work.  I’ve tried using just the word admin, and password, I’ve tied leaving them blank, I’ve tried just leaving the username or password blank at separate times, I’ve trie all 0000. I’ve also tried unplugging it and plugging it back in multiple times, shutting it off and turning it back on multiple times. Ive also tried pushing my WPS on my router and nothing is working! Any Help would be appreciated, I just got a new printer for my main office. I do not want to have to buy another one for home office. Thank you for your time and any help at all is appreciated! I’ve been working on this thing for 2 days!
