Hi @Lagoas,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP ENVY 6032e isn't connecting to your new Wi-Fi network. Let's try some additional troubleshooting steps to address the issue:
1. Reset Network Settings on the Printer
- Step 1: Press and hold the Wi-Fi button and the Cancel button on the printer at the same time until the Power button starts flashing.
- Step 2: The printer's network settings will be reset, and it should enter Wi-Fi setup mode.
2. Reconfigure the Printer Using HP Smart
- Step 1: Ensure your computer or smartphone is connected to the same 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Step 2: Open the HP Smart app on your PC or smartphone. If you don’t have it, download it from the Microsoft Store (for PC) or Google Play Store (for Android).
- Step 3: In the HP Smart app, click Set up a new printer. The app should detect the printer and guide you through the steps.
3. Check for Printer Firmware Updates Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Step 1: While in HP Smart, check if there is a firmware update available for your printer. Sometimes connectivity issues are resolved by updating to the latest version.
4. Router Settings Check
- Step 1: Make sure the 2.4 GHz network is enabled on your router. Some modern routers have both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz merged, but splitting them into separate SSIDs may help.
- Step 2: Disable any MAC filtering or AP isolation settings that may prevent the printer from accessing the network.
5. Try Wi-Fi Direct
- Step 1: Enable Wi-Fi Direct on the printer by pressing the Wi-Fi Direct button on the printer (check the manual for exact steps).
- Step 2: Connect your PC or phone directly to the printer via Wi-Fi Direct and see if you can print that way. This can help determine if the printer’s Wi-Fi hardware is functioning.
6. Manual IP Address
- Step 1: You can try assigning a static IP address to your printer. Access your router settings, locate the list of connected devices, and find your printer.
- Step 2: Set a reserved IP address for the printer and use that IP during the setup process in the HP Smart app.
