My printer connection to the wireless router was interrupted 6 days ago. I received the WPA Authentication error when I ran a wireless network test. After 2 and a half hours of researching and a long phone call with Spectrum cable, I was at my wits end. Then I read a post by someone who changed a setting in a Verizon cable app, and that worked. So I went into my Spectrum app>Settings>Internet>Router and saw the UPnP was not turned on. I turned this on and the printer connected right away.
UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play.
I hope this info helps save time for others experiencing this same problem. I assume that 6 days ago Spectrum did some sort of update and that got turned off. But who knows. I'm just glad it worked! 🙂
