Hi @AMBebo,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
The HP DeskJet 2700e printer does not typically support Bluetooth connectivity for printing. However, it can be connected to your computer using a USB cable or a Wi-Fi connection. If wireless printing is not an option or you are experiencing issues with it, you can connect using a USB cable, which offers a direct and reliable connection.
USB Cable Connection
To connect your HP DeskJet 2700e to your computer via a USB cable, you will need a standard USB Type A to B cable. This cable is commonly referred to as a USB printer cable and has two distinct connectors:
- USB Type A Connector: The flat, rectangular end that plugs into your computer.
- USB Type B Connector: The square end with two beveled edges that plugs into your printer.
Steps to Set Up the HP DeskJet 2700e
- Purchase the USB Cable: Obtain a USB Type A to B cable. These are readily available at most electronics retailers or online marketplaces.
- Connect the Printer:
- Plug the USB Type B end into the corresponding port on the back of your HP DeskJet 2700e printer.
- Connect the USB Type A end into a USB port on your computer.
- Install Printer Software: If you haven't already, install the HP printer software on your computer:
- Visit the Official HP® Support to download the necessary drivers and software for your printer model.
- Run the installation file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
- Visit the Official HP® Support to download the necessary drivers and software for your printer model.
- Set the Printer as Default (Optional): In the printer settings on your computer, set the HP DeskJet 2700e as the default printer to ensure that print jobs default to this device.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
