Hi @RS195,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP ENVY Pro 6458 goes offline after several print jobs. The provided HP content points to these common causes and checks:

  • Printer sleep/off state: The printer can appear offline even when it is actually in sleep mode. Wake it up by touching the control panel or pressing the Power button.

  • Wireless connection issues: Make sure the printer stays connected to the same Wi‑Fi network as your Windows 11 laptop and that the wireless signal is on. A weak or unstable Wi‑Fi connection can cause the printer to drop offline after repeated jobs.

  • Restart devices: Restart the printer, laptop, and router to clear error conditions.

  • Reconnect the printer to Wi‑Fi: For this printer family, HP says you can restore the wireless connection by pressing and holding the Wi‑Fi button and the Power button on the back of the printer for five seconds until the blue bar flashes, then pressing the WPS button on the router within two minutes.

  • Restore Wi‑Fi setup mode if needed, then set up the printer again.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
