Hi @Kooklababy,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are facing an issue with reconnecting your HP LaserJet M110w printer to Wi-Fi after switching internet service providers. Printers can sometimes be finicky with network changes, especially if they were previously configured for a different router or network.
Here are some steps you can try to make the Wi-Fi reconnection process smoother:
1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- Factory Reset: Hold down the Wireless button on your printer for 20 seconds until the blue light starts blinking rapidly. This will reset the network settings on your printer.
- Once it resets, the printer will enter the "Wi-Fi Setup Mode" (indicated by the blue light flashing). This allows it to connect to a new Wi-Fi network.
2. Reconnect the Printer via HP Smart App HP printer setup (HP Smart app)
- Download the HP Smart App on your smartphone or PC if you haven't already.
- Make sure your printer is powered on and in Wi-Fi setup mode (blinking blue light).
- Open the HP Smart App and go through the setup process to reconnect your printer to the new Wi-Fi network.
- The app should guide you step-by-step to enter your new Wi-Fi network credentials.
3. Ensure Router Settings are Compatible
- 2.4 GHz Band: Ensure your new router is broadcasting a 2.4 GHz network. Many printers, including the LaserJet M110w, only support 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi, and they won't connect to 5 GHz networks.
- Security Protocols: Ensure your router is set to use WPA or WPA2 security protocols. Printers may struggle to connect if the router uses WPA3 or more complex security setups.
- SSID & Password: Double-check that the network name (SSID) and password you are entering are correct, as incorrect credentials will prevent the connection.
4. Use WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
If your new router supports WPS:
- Press the WPS button on your router.
- Immediately press and hold the Wireless button on your printer for 3 seconds (until the blue light flashes). The printer should automatically connect to the Wi-Fi network without needing to enter credentials.
5. Check for Printer Firmware Updates Update the firmware on an HP printer User manual
- If possible, connect the printer temporarily via USB and use the HP Smart app to check for firmware updates. Outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.
6. Reboot Router & Devices
- Reboot your router and devices like your phone or PC before attempting another setup. This can clear any network issues that might be causing interference.
7. Assign a Static IP Address (Optional)
- Some users have found success by assigning a static IP address to the printer in the router settings, preventing it from jumping between different IP addresses.

I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
