Hi @Stusi,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I understand you've tried all online suggestions and are still unable to connect your HP printer to Wi-Fi. You might want to walk through these detailed troubleshooting steps specific to HP printers:

Basic Troubleshooting Steps:

Check Wi-Fi Status:

  • Ensure the wireless capabilities of your printer are turned on. If the blue light on your printer is not lit, tap the Menu icon, go to Settings > Network, and toggle Wi-Fi to "On".

Avoid Ethernet Connection:

  • Make sure an Ethernet cable is not connected to the printer, as this will disable wireless capabilities.

Restart Network Devices:

  • Turn off your router, printer, and computer. Turn them back on in this order: router first, then the printer, and finally your computer. This can help resolve network communication issues.

Run Wireless Network Test:

  • Use your printer's control panel to print a Wireless Network Test page. The test report will provide recommendations if any issues are detected.

Advanced Troubleshooting Solutions:

Verify Computer's Connection:

  • Ensure your desktop or laptop's Wi-Fi is enabled and connected to the correct network. Sometimes, your device might be connected to a nearby network instead of your own.

Check Network Details:

  • For Windows users: Go to Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > View Network Status and Tasks.

  • For Mac users: Click the Wi-Fi icon on the menu bar and verify the network connection.

Firewall Configuration:

  • Temporarily disable any firewall security software on your computer and try to connect to the printer again. If successful, adjust firewall settings to allow communication between the computer and printer.

Embedded Web Server Check:

  • Access the printer's Embedded Web Server to verify that both your computer and printer are on the same network.

HP Software Reinstallation:

  • Reinstall the HP printer software. Sometimes, a second installation creates a new driver version in your system. Make sure the correct driver version is set as the default.

HP Network Device Support Service:

  • On Windows, you can try restarting the HP Network Device Support service. Navigate to My Computer or Computer > Manage > Services, find the service, right-click it, and select Restart.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
