Hi @cwfritz
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The HP Envy 5530 printer is compatible with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, but it does not support Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax). Wi-Fi 6 is a newer standard, and printers that were designed before its introduction typically only support the earlier standards (b/g/n).
You can still connect your Envy 5530 to a Wi-Fi 6 network, but it will operate at the 802.11n speeds and features rather than taking advantage of Wi-Fi 6 capabilities. If you're looking for a printer that supports Wi-Fi 6, you may need to look for newer models specifically designed for that standard.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
