Deskjet 3760

I have a deskjet 3760 WiFi printer. It is showing an error and the WiFi light is flashing. I have recently changed broadband provider but the error started before the change. I have tried turning the router and printer off but still cannot connect. It is not a touchscreen and no settings button on the printer. Any advice as the online auto support cannot give me the answer. Printer is 9 months old and hasn’t worked since February.

@Granny57, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

If the wifi light is blinking, it means the printer is not connected to the network.

Use the WPS method to connect the printer to the network if not already connected - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)

  • Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
  • If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.

What is the error on the printer? Do you have any blinking lights other than the wifi light?

To resolve errors, kindly follow the steps mentioned in this document - Blinking Lights

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
