Hi @Relquelmi
Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.
Thanks for flagging this—Wi-Fi Direct can be super handy, but when it refuses to connect, it’s definitely a headache. Let’s walk through a few key details together so we can pinpoint what’s going wrong and get things working again.
🔍 A Few Quick Questions to Help Diagnose
- Printer Model: Could you confirm the exact model of your HP printer?
- Device You're Connecting From: Are you trying to connect via a phone, tablet, or computer? And what operating system is it running?
- Wi-Fi Direct Status: Is the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the printer solid, blinking, or off?
- Error Messages: Do you see any specific error or connection failure messages?
- Distance Between Devices: Are the printer and device close to each other? Wi-Fi Direct works best within a few meters.
- Have You Tried a Power Reset? Sometimes a simple restart of the printer and device can clear up connection glitches.
Once I have those details, I’ll guide you step by step to get Wi-Fi Direct working smoothly again. We’ll get this sorted—I’ve got your back! 😊
Take care, and have an amazing day!
