Operating System: macOS 11.0 Big Sur

I just moved my friend into assisted living. WiFi signal is strong and easy to connect to. HP connects to the WiFi but MacBook can’t print to it, nor iphone, nor Windows10 pc

 I tried disabling firewall and got apple support to login to the Mac. She said the HP was not configured for AirPrint but it is an AirPrint model. I think there might be a building WiFi problem but there is no IT support. Any suggestions? I did try HP smart app and utilities. Mac can print via usb but disconnects without the cable
