Hello @tommymac0218, Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding the HP Officejet 4630.

We appreciate the opportunity to assist you and are glad we could help work toward a resolution. We hope our support has been valuable.

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please follow the steps provided below so that I can assist you further?

Yes, you can enter an exclamation mark (!) on the HP Officejet 4630 control panel, although it may not be immediately visible. To do this, press the symbol key (such as *@ or *#) on the keypad and tap it repeatedly to cycle through the available special characters until the exclamation mark appears. This allows you to accurately enter your Wi‑Fi password during setup.

1. Access symbol keypad:
While entering the password on the touchscreen, use the alphanumeric keypad to open the symbol screen.

2. Navigate through symbols:
Tap the asterisk/symbol key (*@) repeatedly to cycle through multiple pages of special characters.

3. Select the exclamation mark (!):
Continue tapping until the “!” symbol appears, then select it to enter it in your password.

However, we recommend you keep a password which can be used to connect the printer and the router faster.

Take care and have an amazing day!

I'm an HP Employee.
