HP DeskJet 3630 Series
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

On the HP 3630 Series DeskJet the Wifi Direct turns on by itself and prints the WifI Direct Guide every few minutes

Wi-Fi Direct Settings

Change the Wi-Fi Direct settings, and then click Apply.

Status
OnOff

Even after turning it off, after a couple of days it turns on and starts printing the WIFI Direct Guide avery few mins.

Any thoughts on how to resolve this and stop the printing.

Am not using WiFi Direct to print from Phones.

Thanks

Prasanna

@prasrao, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Follow the steps below to isolate and resolve the issue-

Update the printer firmware

Download available firmware updates from the HP website

With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Perform a factory reset on the printer- power off the printer and remove the cable >Press the Power Button + Cancel button while connecting the Power cable.

Configure the printer and try printing.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
