Hi @Acc27503,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6455e All-in-One Printer is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi despite multiple attempts at rebooting, here are some steps you can try.

Ensure Printer is in Setup Mode:

  • Reset the printer's network settings by pressing and holding the Wireless button (or Wi-Fi icon) and the Cancel button together for 3 seconds.
  • The wireless light should start blinking, indicating it is in setup mode.

Use the HP Smart App:

  • Download or open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Add a new printer by following the instructions in the app.
  • Ensure your smartphone or computer is connected to the same network you want the printer to connect to.

Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure the router's 2.4 GHz band is enabled (the printer does not support 5 GHz-only networks).
  • Disable MAC address filtering or add the printer's MAC address to the allowed list.

Advanced Steps

Assign a Static IP:

  • On your router's admin page, locate the connected devices or DHCP settings.
  • Find your printer's MAC address (it should be listed in the HP Smart app or printer network settings) and assign it a static IP.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Temporarily connect the printer via USB to your computer.
  • Use the HP website or HP Smart app to check for and install any firmware updates.

Manually Configure Wi-Fi:

  • Use the printer's control panel to manually enter your Wi-Fi SSID and password if supported.

Reset Printer to Factory Defaults

If the above doesn't work:

  1. Turn the printer on.
  2. Hold the Wi-Fi button and the Power button for 10 seconds.
  3. Follow the setup process again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
