Hi @AvinashKale,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If the WiFi option is not showing on your HP Pavilion 14 laptop, it might be due to a driver issue or a problem with the network adapter itself. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot.

Check Device Manager:

  • Right-click the Start button and select "Device Manager."
  • Expand the "Network adapters" section and look for your WiFi adapter. It might be listed under a name like "Wireless Network Adapter" or similar.
  • If you see a yellow exclamation mark next to it, there’s likely a driver issue.

Update or Reinstall the Driver:

  • In Device Manager, right-click on your WiFi adapter and select "Update driver."
  • Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software" and follow the prompts.
  • If updating doesn't work, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the driver. Right-click the WiFi adapter, select "Uninstall device," then restart your laptop. Windows should attempt to reinstall the driver upon reboot.

Check for Windows Updates:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and check for any available updates. Sometimes a Windows update can include necessary drivers.

Check the Network Adapter Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Status > Change adapter options.
  • Make sure the WiFi adapter is enabled. If it's disabled, right-click on it and select "Enable."

Run the Network Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select "Internet Connections" and run the troubleshooter.

Check the BIOS/UEFI Settings:

  • Sometimes, the WiFi adapter can be disabled in the BIOS/UEFI settings. Restart your laptop and enter the BIOS/UEFI setup (usually by pressing a key like F2, F10, or DEL during startup).
  • Check if there’s an option to enable or disable the wireless adapter.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
