Thanks but I don't have Verizon and I have  TP-Link router. Need to determine if it has a SON and how to disable it if it does.

I just tried resetting the FIOS router.  I had such hopes....but the HP smart app will not recognize the printer.

 Try unplugging the printer from the outlet and then plug it again and see if your app recognizes it then.  That happens to me occasionally and unplugging and plugging it back in usually works.

Similar problems. I've ordered a Canon Pixma and this HP PoS has a meeting with an axe arranged for the day I install the Canon. Last HP printer for me. Ever.
