If you recently moved and need to connect your HP 4129 printer to a new Wi-Fi network, follow these steps:
Step-by-Step Guide
Gather Information:
- Your Wi-Fi network name (SSID).
- Your Wi-Fi password (WPA/WPA2 passphrase).
Start the Printer:
- Turn on your HP 4129 printer.
- Ensure it is in a ready state.
Access Wireless Setup:
- Printers with a touchscreen control panel:
- On the printer’s control panel, touch the Wireless icon or navigate to the Wireless menu.
- Touch the Settings icon, then select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Printers without a touchscreen control panel:
- Press and hold the Wireless button until the Wireless light starts blinking. This will start the WPS push button mode on your printer.
Connect Using Wireless Setup Wizard:
- The Wireless Setup Wizard will search for networks.
- Select your Wi-Fi network from the list of detected networks.
- Enter your Wi-Fi network password when prompted.
