@jerry20434, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Wi-Fi connection issues for HP LaserJet printers!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP LaserJet M110w printer. Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the issue:
Restart Devices
- Turn off the printer by pressing the Power button.
- Turn off the computer or mobile device that the printer was set up with.
- Restart the router.
- After waiting a minute, reconnect the power cord to the printer and to a wall outlet. Turn on the printer.
Check the Printer and Network Connections
- Ensure that the printer is within 8 meters (26 feet) of the router.
- Check that the Wireless light on the printer's control panel is on and solid blue. If not, proceed to restore Wi-Fi setup mode.
Restore Wi-Fi Setup Mode on the Printer Many HP printers have a Wi-Fi setup mode to help connect to a network. If your printer doesn't have a touchscreen, please follow these steps:
- Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons on the printer until the Power button blinks, then wait for the Wireless light to blink.
Install the HP Smart App
- Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com or your app store.
- Open the app and create an account or sign in.
- Within two hours of restoring Wi-Fi setup mode, follow the steps in the HP Smart app to add the printer and set up the wireless connection.
Using the Wireless Setup Wizard (if applicable)
- For printers with a touchscreen, you can use the Wireless Setup Wizard:
- Open the Wireless or Setup menu on your printer.
- Select Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Follow the prompts to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Check for Router Requirements
- Ensure that the printer is not connected to a computer with a USB cable.
- Confirm that the router is not restricting the printer’s IP address.
- Ensure the 2.4 GHz band is enabled if your printer does not support 5.0 GHz.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
