@donnamae307, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry you're having trouble with your HP printer's WiFi connection. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:
Restart Devices: Turn off your printer, computer, and router. Wait for about 30 seconds, then turn them back on. This can often resolve connectivity issues.
Check Network Settings: Ensure your printer is connected to the same WiFi network as your computer. You can print a network configuration page from your printer to verify its connection status.
Restore Network Settings:
For printers with a touchscreen: Go to Setup > Network Setup or Settings > Restore Network Settings.
For printers without a touchscreen: Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button until the power light blinks.
Factory Reset: If the above steps don't work, you might need to perform a factory reset on your printer. This will restore the WiFi setup mode, allowing you to reconnect the printer using the HP Smart app.
